At the entrance of the park there is a restaurant, 't Belterwiede. Here you can enjoy eating or have a drink in the cafe. In fine weather you can sit on the terrace.
The restaurant is open daily, except tuesday. Low season there are different openinghours.
From your private dock you can fish all day long if you want!!
Of course you can swim in open water the Belterwiede . In the winter you can skate on it.
You can explore the area by bike witch you can rent at the reception.
For people who love cycling or walking there are various maps available at the reception.
Also for sale at the reception is the daily newspaper and postcards. There is also the possibility to buy "some forgotten" groceries. You can fax or mail us your shoppinglist and when you arrive at your bungalow the groceries are in the house ( service € 4,=)
Every day you can buy fresly baked rolls, we have croissants and pisolets.
With so much water the Weerribben -Wieden is best toured by boat. The visitor centres offer a wide range of boat trips from April through to October.
They include roe deer trails, full moon tours and special family trips. Several companies in the neighbourhood offer boat trips for individuals or groups. |If you prefer to go on your own you can hire a sailing or rowing boat, an electrically powered boat or a canoe.
The area is rather wet so we recommend visitors to wear appropiate footwear.
But ofcourse you can stay at your bungalow, relaxing or fishing or feeding the ducks.
Allthrough the year there is always someting to do.
