Waterpark Belterwiede is near Giethoorn, the Dutch Venice of the Netherlands. Whisperboats buzz along the local canals and under the characteristic bridges with thatched-roof farmhouses on either side. However, Giethoorn has much more to offer: from a mineral and fossil museum to a farmhouse museum. Sample the atmosphere of the fifties in the well-known café Fanfare among the decor in which the typical Dutch movie directed by Bert Haanstra "Fanfare" was made.
